Join us for an enlightening presentation by Dr. Sheila Case, Doctor of Audiology and founder of Intracoastal Hearing Center, as she explores the vital connection between hearing and brain health. In this talk, The Hearing–Brain Connection: Understanding How Hearing Loss Impacts Cognitive Health, Dr. Case will share insights into how hearing changes can affect memory, focus, and overall cognitive well-being—and what we can do to protect and support our hearing health as we age.
About Dr. Sheila Case
A proud University of Florida graduate, Dr. Sheila Case, AuD, CCC/A, has been helping people hear their best for more than 25 years. Her extensive career includes work in ENT clinics, nonprofit programs, industrial settings, and private practice, including several years as CEO of a large hearing center in Atlanta. This breadth of experience gives her a uniquely comprehensive approach to patient care.
With a minor in gerontology, Dr. Case has a special passion for supporting older adults in maintaining both hearing and cognitive health. Her practice, Intracoastal Hearing Center, is proudly certified as a Dementia Friendly practice, ensuring compassionate and accessible care for individuals and families impacted by memory concerns.
Now based in Vero Beach, Dr. Case is dedicated to providing personalized, community-focused hearing care that helps people reconnect with the sounds and moments that matter most.
Outside the office, she enjoys golf, Pilates, and traveling with her husband. She treasures time spent visiting her children and new grandson and loves exploring new destinations with her family.
