GRIEF SUPPORT FOR ALZHEIMER CAREGIVERS
Alzheimer & Parkinson Association 2300 5th Ave Suite 150, Vero BeachThis group is open to those that have lost someone who suffered from cognitive loss. The group function is to work together to deal with feelings and will help each understand how many feelings change moment to moment. PURPOSE: To provide participants with a safe place to share their thoughts and feelings and work towards better emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Alzheimer & Parkinson Association 2300 5th Ave Suite 150, Vero BeachThe Alzheimer and Parkinson Association hosts an Alzheimer’s Disease Support Group once a month on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 2:00 p.m. This group is facilitated by Vicki Drumheller MS, RN, BC, CCM and focuses on support and education through the journey of caregiving for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia.
Gifford Caregiver Support Group
The Alzheimer & Parkinson Association hosts a Caregiver Support Group every month on the 2nd Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Gifford Community Center. This group was designed as a safe, non- judgmental place for caregivers of those with loved ones with various forms of dementia or movement disorders to gather and support one another.
