Our Speaker Series brings nationally recognized professionals to Indian River County to share the latest in education, research, and advancements related to dementia and movement disorders. Topics include groundbreaking studies, innovative procedures, and new findings in neurological care. These informative sessions are offered throughout the year at various locations across the county, providing valuable resources and insight for individuals, families, and caregivers in our community.

Moreen Burkart, MT-BC, is the owner and board-certified music therapist at Music Matters LLC. She holds certifications in both Hospice & Palliative Music Therapy and Neurologic Music Therapy. In her presentation, she will explore how music therapy supports individuals facing challenges with gait, speech, and cognitive function, as well as those coping with anxiety and depression.
