The Center for Memory and Motion is a community-minded not-for-profit organization that relies on the time and talent of volunteers who help with a variety of projects and programs ranging from around-the-office assistance to help overseeing some of our programs such as the Virtual Dementia Tour™ or social respite program.

Volunteer opportunities can include:
With only a limited number of office staff members, the Center for Memory and Motion can always use administrative assistance such as photocopying, computer work, organizing the brochures, pamphlets and library materials, answering phones, and help with mailings.
There are many opportunities throughout Indian River County to educate the public about the resources at the Center for Memory and Motion. Occasionally, we might need extra help with attending health fairs, manning an informational table at community events or even be trained to be a spokesperson for the organization.
The Center for Memory and Motion also needs extra assistance for our special events and educations seminars/conferences such as the Walk to Remember and Day of Hope.
For those who prefer to have more interaction with our clients, we need volunteers to help with programs such as our Virtual Dementia Tour ™, Project Lifesaver, Memory Screening and social respite groups.
